HOLT, MI –– The Moneyball Pro-Am came back for its 20th year on Tuesday, June 24.
Using this, the Michigan State University basketball team entered the arena at Holt High School.
For certain Spartans, such as towering players Jaxon Kohler and Carson Cooper, the six-team league serves as a well-known battleground to get ready for the upcoming season.
For other Spartans, this serves as a testing ground and an opportunity for them to showcase their skills in front of a local audience for the very first time.
The league boasts high scores and features long-range three-pointers, powerful alley-oops, and offers spectators thrilling contests to watch.
Each team has at most two Spartans, with Nick Sanders being the sole Spartan on Team Case Credit Union.
During the league's season, each team will compete against one another, leading to some intriguing confrontations.
Kur Teng and Denham Wojcik have been teamed up under Team SPS.
Coen Carr and Cam Ward have been teamed up under Team Motorcars.
Trey Fort and Jordan Scott have been teamed together under Team Snipes.
Scott was absent from the starting matches.
Divine Ugochukwu and Jaxon Kohler have been teamed up under Team Faygo.
Jeremy Fears Jr. and Carson Cooper have been teamed up under Team Tristar.
Fears Jr. was absent during the starting matches.
