The fourth privately funded astronaut mission by Axiom to the International Space Station took place initially planning to debut at the end of May However, it has faced multiple delays. The most recent postponement occurred on Friday, June 13, because of issues with the International Space Station. By Monday, June 23, a new launch time is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25.
Once launched, a SpaceX Dragon capsule containing four crew members will be propelled into space via a Falcon 9 rocket, departing from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Although rockets are launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center close to Merritt Island, Florida, or the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, residents of the Treasure Coast frequently witness this Floridian spectacle.
Depending on weather conditions and cloud coverage, a spacecraft liftoff from Florida’s Space Coast might be observable from locations as far north as Jacksonville Beach and Daytona Beach down to areas as far south as Vero Beach and West Palm Beach.
